Tell us something about you:

I started my career in auditing and finance but have always had that entrepreneurial spirit. One of my earliest memories was thinking that one day I was going to run my own business. When my wife and I started Wholelattelove.com our idea was to create a site that had all the information that you could possibly get in one place about espresso machines and coffee. We wanted something that defined “coffee culture” and was a comfortable place to be able to shop at home. We could never have predicted how far the culture would have evolved and how much we became a part of it.

What excites you most about coffee?

Coffee culture is so strong, it incites so many great feelings. Family, get togethers, waking up to your first cup of coffee. When our coffee team gets a new machine added to our collection and their enthusiasm with testing out new equipment. The excitement of our customers when they get their first coffee machine or they upgrade to a version that has more technology. There are so many ideas and new things on the horizon it is all exciting!

How Did You Become Involved in the Coffee Industry?

My wife and I started our business back in 1997 we wanted a product that had a strong culture behind it. Coffee seems to fit that bill. Espresso and coffee drinks were somewhat “being born” in the USA when we started, so was the online e-commerce side of things. It has been challenging and rewarding working with Espresso machine development and with a lot of hard work and perseverance it became one of the largest online retailers. We breathe coffee!

What are you good at?

“Ideas and Building” It is important to have clear ideas of where you want your business to go and how to get there. Then instilling those ideas and applying them to the coffee world. Our team is very important we love coffee and it shows in the way our employees treat our customers and our entire office has a “family” environment.

What is your go-to coffee drink in the morning?

A good Cappuccino of course!
