What are your credentials and accomplishments?:

I'm the co-owner of Rosso Coffee Roasters and Forward Specialty Green Coffee Importers. Two-time National Barista Champion, twice-Finalist at the World Barista Championships (2018, 2019).

How did you get started in coffee?

I graduated high school in 2009 and my post-graduate plans didn't pan out. I started working a hospitality job, shortly after joined my brother at Rosso. My interest in specialty began after Rosso switched from Illy Coffee to George Howell Coffee. In the spirit of learning and improving my skill, I began competing in barista competitions and that's led to the development of a roasting and sourcing program.

What does being a coffee pro mean to you?

Being a Dalla Corte Pro is really special. To know I'm supported in my craft and my opinion is valued and respected is beyond words.

Who are you outside of coffee? What are your interests?

Im the guy who wants to ride his bike and play in the park with his friends. My bike is my only transportation. If I ever decide to grow up, I'd like to be an architect.
